W.E.B Dubois stated in the Criteria of Negro Art that "thus all art is propaganda and ever must be, despite the wailing of the purists. I stand in utter shamelessness and say that whatever art I have for writing has been used always for propaganda for gaining the right of black folk to love and enjoy... Our worst side has been so shamelessly emphasized that we are denying we have or ever had a worst side. In all sorts of ways we are hemmed in and our new young artists have got to fight their way to freedom. The ultimate judge has got to be you and you have got to build yourselves up into that wide judgment."
Our Journal: Capital Culturel Africain (African Cultural Capital), has as it's main mission to work to increase, preserve, distribute and create objectified forms of African cultural capital. With the strategic and passionate effort to encompass life, history, tradition, art, literature and culture, readers are urged to immerse themselves into the idea of going back to the original essence of African (Diaspora) cultural capital.
Goals:
Capital Culturel Africain strives to facilitate a conference of the Arts; transporting endless works of African cultural capital to readers' hands, homes, minds and into their lives. Our collective efforts are aimed at bringing together large collections of African (Diaspora) cultural capital into art galleries, museums, and shops continuing to educate others.
