Why American consumers can't add
We all know illiteracy is bad, but failing at math is worse. How America's lack of basic math skills contributed to the housing bubble, and lots of other problems.
When I published Gotcha Capitalism two years ago, I was in for a big surprise. As I talked about systemic hidden fee fraud all around the country, many, many friends (and even co-workers) found me and asked in hushed tones, “What’s a mutual fund?” “What’s comprehensive and collision?” “What’s a mortgage point?”

Arts programs
So, first time here. Thought I'd start it off with a blog.
Well, my original idea when I first stumbled upon this site was to help start more arts programs in schools without them, or grade D/F schools.
The school district I am in, is going through major budget cuts. Which means cutting out extracurriculars such as art. Coming from an art high school, I wish younger kids will be able to have an exposure to the arts.

ONE VOICE CONCERT june10 @ NaSHua High School South
I have never been more tired or more anxious in my life. For the past month I have given up everything I love and care fore, all for one thing, my ONE VOICe concert. With all the complications that have happened I have felt like I was ready to quite or just give up. But in my life that hasn’t ever been an option. I remember how easy everything seemed on paper and that’s when things got bad. First thing was that every one was busy and that people weren’t feeling well.
the battle (so proud!)
Today at school another rapper came up to joe and started battling him rap wise. this rapper was throwing racial slurs, comments about joes mama, talking about his negativity towards youth venture, and swearing. it was him just letting out a whole lot of anger. he even got on the table joe was sitting at faced him and kept dissing him. through out the whole time i just kept looking at joes face, he was smiling, often people have anger or something close, but instead he was smilling. he just stared and almost laughed.
