What if the only books you ever had were the ones at school?!?!?!
Imagine that the only books that you ever had were the ones from school: heavy textbooks, dogeared paperbacks, and laborious novels. There would be no incentive to lose yourself in a book...come to think of it maybe that's why so many books are lost at school each year!

America Profile highlights My Own Book

In July '08 My Own Book was featured in American Profile magazine. This was a great way to spread the work about our program nationally, get lots of new volunteers, donations, and set up new chapters.
