Jim called his wife, Hlee, from the summit of Everest at 8 a.m. (summit time, 8 p.m Mountain Time in the States), to say, "We're at the summit. We made it!"
Hlee asked that I post this on Jim's behalf. That's all the information we have now.

Summit - FAQ
Who can attend the National Youth Venture Summit?
The National Youth Venture Summit is primarily designed for Youth Venture teams and the broader Youth Venture community, but is open to all young people age 12 and up, and adults who work with youth. Adult supervision will not be provided – minors (persons under 18 years of age) must attend with a chaperone.
What types of activities will take place at the Summit?

Junior 8 Competition -- Spend a week with G8 leaders in Japan!
If you had the opportunity to tell world leaders what they should do to solve global problems, what would you say?
The Junior 8 program gives you the chance to develop your own ideas about the most pressing global issues today, discuss them with your friends, classmates and young people from around the world, and present them to the leaders of eight of the most powerful countries in the world.
