** keep publishing JJ Express magazine and get the first few issues out. Want to raise readership by 50%
** keep in touch w/ my family in college...*sniff*
** help out the environment...I would like it so that by the end of 2008, we are slowing down the trend significantly. Al Gore says that we still have a long way to go...:(

There is a surge of interest in the environmental problem that has been festering for years. With attentions whetted by Al Gore's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, the environmental problem has been addressed by many people, including celebrities who have tried to use their star status for good; London, which has several green districts; ecovillages that have sprouted around the nation; research into an environmentally friendly fuel; and much more.

Hello Everyone,

I am Jessie Mehrhoff, president of Green Teens U.S.A. an environmental club that is dedicated to helping the environment. I always loved nature, growing up with a father who is a biologist, but I became very interested in the environment when studying Rachel Carson. Carson was a marine biologist turned environmental writer, best know for her book Silent Spring.

The E. O. Smith High School Solutions fair was held during late April, it was an environmental fair that all students attended showing them how they could make a difference and help the environment. Green Teens was invited to set up a booth at the fair and so we promoted our club at school. We got over 110 signatures of students and teachers promoting World Tree Day and made over $120.00 to benefit our club between donations and selling Green Teen Eco-bags! The day was a great success!
