'The Secret Life of the American Teenager'
The ABC Family show 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' follows a 15 year old girl as she faces an unexpected pregnancy. According to ABC family the television show "deals honestly and directly with the consequences of an unplanned pregnancy in a non-exploitative manner and explores how the core character's relationships with her mother, father, sister and friends are affected. . . . What do you think about the show? Does the show make it easier for you to talk about the issue of teen pregnancy?
Personally, I really enjoy the show. I got hooked. The characters are real and likeable. I especially like how the show makes a point to show that unexpected pregnancy could happen to anyone. It is an issue that breaks stereotypes. That’s what I think....what are your thoughts?
