Obama's Parents

Obama has already made history as the first "Black" major party nominee for president. He stands to make more history if he is elected. There is one interesting point though that no one seems to be talking about, Obama isn't Black, at best he's half black. Tiger Woods is another interesting example. Tiger's ethnic break up is as follows. His Mother is: 1/2 Thai, 1/4 Caucasian, 1/4 Chinese Father: 1/2 Black, 1/4 American Indian, 1/4 Chinese. This makes Tiger only 1/4 Black yet this is the way he is often defined. Is this fair? How do issues of personal diversity effect you?
