D.I.D.I. comes to the Second Life Main Grid - Info Sessions!

D.I.D.I. comes to the main grid! We'll be holding information sessions this week at the following times at the Global Kids HQ in Second Life:

Thurs, Sept. 18: 4PM EST/ 1PM PST
Thurs, Sept. 18: 9PM EST/ 6PM PST
Fri, Sept. 19: 3PM EST/ 12PM PST

Global Kids and Youth Venture invite all young people in Second Life to participate in the Dream It. Do It. Initiative to design and launch their own social Ventures and receive start-up grants of up to US $1,000 and ongoing tools and support.

By participating in the D.I.D.I. Initiative, you will receive:

- Access to a series of workshops to help you form a team, plan, and launch your Venture
- Seed funding (up to US $1,000 per team in either linden or US dollars)
- Technical allies to provide additional advice and expertise
- A supportive network of fellow D.I.D.I. Venture Teams
- Identity as part of a global movement of young people leading social change!

The Ventures: A Venture can be any youth-led organization, program, or business that benefits the community, either within or outside of Second Life. The Venture must be a new initiative designed to be sustainable, and must involve two or more team members, at least one of whom is under the age of 21.
