Gingerbread House Display and Auction!!!!
My Own Book is hosting a Gingerbread House Display and Auction. We have asked for donations of gingerbread houses from private individuals, clubs, bakeries, restaurants, etc. We are posting pictures of each of the gingerbread houses on our website and encouraging individuals to bid on the houses to raise money to buy books to promote and share the love of reading.
On December 20th we are hosting a 'Reading Sweet' event at the downtown Fairfield Library. Teens from Armijo high school and girl scouts will be on hand to read and let children pick their very own book. In addition, the gingerbread houses will be on display.
