If you’re just starting out, whether you’ve got an idea or you want to find an idea, this is the place for you.
- Learn about the benefits of being a Youth Venturer and all the eligibility requirements.
- Find out what you need to do to complete an action plan and succeed selection panel.
- If you’ve already started your own social venture, and are thinking about starting another project, you can apply for seed funding, too!
DO IT
Congratulations! You’ve gotten the seed funding, now you just have to launch. Easy enough, right? We know you can do it and this section is filled with tips on how you can make your venture a success!
- Get tips on everything from event planning to social and environmental awareness.
- Share your experiences, be it successes or obstacles, in the comments section.

- Find a venture to join or help out

- Read and learn about all the different ventures that have launched across the globe.

Aren't you curious about what young people are doing around the world? Click on the team profile pictures or team names to view team profiles now!
One more helpful tip... You can narrow down your search by Account Type, Phase, Interests, Region, Country, and State. Simply click on Advanced Team Search to view your options.
MEMBER
You can also browse the site by members. Simply click on Browse Member. Similar to Browse Teams, you can narrow your search using Advanced Member Search. Whether you are a new venturer or a seasoned venturer, this section is a great way to meet and connect with members who share your interests.
CONTENT
Want to find interesting content on the site? Use the Browse Videos, Browse Blogs and Browse Audio options to find the latest and most interesting content added to GenV.net!
EVENTS
The Browse Events section lets you search for events taking place in your community and around the world. You can even search Past Events to get an idea of the great work Youth Venture teams are doing all over the world.
CHAT ROOM
Connect with other GenV members for instant communication in the Chat Room . in the chat room you can talk about the topics most important to you, share advice on starting a venture and network to create partnerships with other Venture teams. The forums is a place for you to express your thoughts.
- Talk about anything and everything ranging from art, literature and culture to teen pregnancy. Create your own forum if what you want to talk about isn’t listed!
- Find information and announcements about other funding opportunities, website updates, GenV.net contests, etc.
