IOWA CAUCUS!!!
So...the results of the Iowa caucus are out now...what do you think? For those of you who haven't heard:
Republican
(1) Mike Huckabee
(2) Mitt Romney
Democratic
(1) Barack Obama
(2) John Edwards
(3) Hilary Clinton
I don't know the other placewinners, so if you do, let us know!
Who do you support? What do you think is surprising or expected about the results? Has the results changed any of your opinions?
I think its amazing that Mike Huckabee went from a "who's that?" to first in the caucus. I personally, support Edwards (although don't let that sway you!) because to me, he represents everything I'm looking for in improving the environmental issue. He also seems like a really great guy who is devoted to his family and the nation. I don't really like Hilary Clinton that much because she seems really superficial to me. She also has a bad history. Her voting record with Iraq shows that she's supported it until she decided to run for Prez. And plus, if she gets elected President, the nation will be more divided than ever...half of the voters hate her, half of them love her. I don't think she represents our values as women.
