Launch Party for The D.I.D.I. Initiative!

Youth Venture’s Teen Second Life project officially launches Tuesday October 16th at 4:00 PM SLT (same as Pacific Time/7:00 PM ET).
All English-speaking youths aged 13-17 from any country are welcome to attend the launch party in Teen Second Life (yes – it’s a “virtual” launch party including virtual games, dancing, cake, pizza and more).
To join the party, you'll need high speed Internet access and to be a member of Teen Second Life (free to join - go to http://teen.secondlife.com). Once a member, open the Map by clicking on the blue Map button at the bottom of the SL screen. In the search box on the right side of the Map window, type in "The DIDI Initiative" and click Search. The map will shift focus to the The DIDI Initiative Island. Then click the blue Teleport button to go there.
The D.I.D.I. Initiative, a partnership in Second Life between Youth Venture and Global Kids to improve health and healthcare, launches October 16th. Through generous support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, all English-speaking youth aged 13-17 are welcome to join our launch party in Teen Second Life. The D.I.D.I. Initiative provides young people the seed funding and the support they need to launch their own ventures that create lasting community benefits.
