August's Video Competition Begins NOW!
Best Video Posted on GenV.net: Youth Creating Change
GenV.net has a great function where you can easily upload YouTube videos to your profile! So, this month’s competition is The BEST Uploaded YouTube Video posted on GenV.net. The theme of the posted video must be: Youth Creating Change.
This is what you need to do to upload a video:
1) Find a video to submit to the contest on www.youtube.com
2) To add YouTube videos on your profile:
* Locate the video ID on the YouTube website.
Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=aBM4QYXPf-s
* Go to your genv.net profile and click on “Add Video”.
* Enter a title for your video.
* Enter the YouTube video ID (11 characters long)
Example: if your video was at http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=aBM4QYXPf-s you would just enter aBM4QYXPf-s.
3) Hit the Submit button and then send ‘vistajosh’ a private message with the link to your uploaded video in it before August 15th.
4) Voting will take place the last two weeks of the month (August 16th-31st)
Browse www.youtube.com and see what you can find! You can interpret the theme “Youth Creating Change” anyway you want… be creative!!! Remember, the prize for the best video is a $50.00 VISA gift card, and the chance to win $500.00 for your venture in the Member of the Year contest in December!!
