YVNY Youth Advisory Council
Are you a Venturer in NYC?
If so, you are invited to be a member of the Youth Advisory Council, our first meeting will be on June 5th at 5.00 pm. Please put it in your calendar. Here is a little blurb on YAC:
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a Board set up by Youth Venture composing of a list of TOP Venturers who are making change in their community. YAC meets on average once a month at a place designated by the board. YAC members have a valuable part in the development of YV, and make up a council whose mission is: to utilize the intelligence and experience of Venturers in order to improve the efficiency and utility of Youth Venture, to ensure that Youth Venture has accurate and up to date knowledge of the issues affecting Venturers, and to act as a liaison between Youth Venture and its Venture Teams. Participating in the council is a great way to hone your leadership and management skills while getting your voice hear in YV decision-making processes.
