The Youth Venture Ambassador Program is an opportunity for current and former Venturers to promote youth as changemakers within their schools and/or communities. Ambassadors support the growth of Youth Venture in their communities in many creative ways. The scope of their commitment is open and flexible.
Ambassadors bring Youth Venture to their peers, local schools, after-school programs, newspapers, and TV stations. Ambassadors see Youth Venture as a life-changing experience and want to help change the lives of other youth in their communities!
YV Ambassadors inspire others by:
- Using stories of their personal experiences creating and launching a Venture to help others see that they can make change, too.
- Motivating their peers to become activists for change and serving as mentors to other aspiring Venturers.
- Thinking creatively about how to spread the word about Youth Venture. Examples include: giving speeches, talking to their classmates, writing articles or appearing on local TV, and giving “Dream It. Do It.” workshops.
Benefits of being an Ambassador:
- Build your leadership skills.
- Broaden your network of like-minded youth working to create change.
- Help build YV in your local community.
