Youth Venture’s NYAC is comprised of 8 to 12 outstanding Venturers that advise Youth Venture on key organizational issues. The Youth Council is a voluntary group of young people dedicated to shaping the growth of Youth Venture and furthering Youth Venture’s “everyone a changemaker” mission.
The Purpose of the NYAC:
- To utilize the intelligence and experience of Venturers in order to improve the efficiency and impact of Youth Venture.
- To ensure that Youth Venture has accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the issues affecting Venturers.
- To foster Venturer collaboration.
After you have sustained your Venture for 3 months and returned your Progress Report, you are eligible to apply to become part of the NYAC. For more information please email nyac@youthventure.org.
There are also regional Youth Councils in Minnesota and New York. E-mail Contact your local office for more information about regional Youth Councils. Visit www.youthventure.org for information on how to contact your local regional office.
“We are like a strong and intricate tapestry. We are individual threads, different colors, different textures, and we are made stronger woven together. That’s how our team can contribute further; by maintaining our individual purpose but working together to promote the Youth Venture movement.”
