Youth Venture is a global movement of young changemakers. We are made up of young people – Venturers – from around the world who have launched lasting social ventures that create positive impact in our communities. We also include many supporters: adult Allies, Technical Allies, partners, and the Youth Venture global staff team. All of us believe in the importance of supporting all young people to become changemakers. If we are to become a better society that’s more able to address the many social problems we face, then we must have more changemakers in the world to take initiative and create positive social change. We believe that you have to start on the path as a changemaker when you’re young, while you’re still open to the many possibilities of the leader you can become.
Our Venturers come from all different walks of life in many different regions around the world. There is no one type of Venturer, but rather what all Venturers have in common is their desire and motivation to create positive change. Venturers can address any type of social challenge they see, and they launch sustainable social ventures to tackle these social needs. SMARTA Africa combine education, financing and mentoring to create sustainable income-generating businesses for poor communities groups.
Intensive Training: The training is tailored to be covered in 2 weeks in our spacious Training headquarters compound in Nairobi. The groups trained will be able to experience first hand business skills in the Capital City, Nairobi with various visits tours arranged to visit well established businesses that started as small business.
Online Training: The training is individual based, the maximum duration to complete the course is 0ne year, but online applicant can finish in three months. Online course is tailored to busy business individuals who cannot spend two weeks in our centre. Online course is provided by our Trainers through online chatting.
Distant learning: The training is individual based, the maximum duration to complete the course is 0ne year, but applicant can finish in as less as three months. The course is tailored to busy business individuals who cannot spend two weeks in our centre and cannot access internet too. All course materials are prepared and provided by SMARTA Africa via Postal cooparation.
