I am a junior at Scripps College, majoring in Sociology and Chicano Studies. I am Mexican, i am woman, i am an aspiring educator, i am a daughter, friend, educated Latina. I believe in building community, getting an education and making a change in our educational system for the improvemnt of our daily lives and the lives of our children.

Goals

  • I want to help out a venture
  • I want to join a venture
  • I want to learn more about Youth Venture, what others are doing, and ways in which i can help others work together, get the word out, and reach their goals.

Hi and welcome to GenV!
First off, way to go to, about everything. Sociology, Chicano Studies, you sound motivated and educated, and its all really inspiring. I'm sorry if I overstepped my boundaries, but I thought it needed to be said.
Once again, welcome to GenV, and let me point you in the direction of the user "Khollida" who is trying to start a venture in Virginia to reform his educational system. I would also like to discuss a few of my projects if you're interested, and get your feedback on how they can build community.
And, most importantly, I want to hear what your goals are on GenV!
