My Own Book is hosting a national 'Share the Joy of Reading' event for the month of February. We are encouraging adults and teens to buy their favorite children's book and read it to a child. In addition, we'd like them to give the book to the child. On our website at www.myownbook.net we will have a place for folks to share their experiences. We'll also be supplying bookplates to people so that they can personalize the books they give out.
