Meeting up-4th Workshop
YV's first batch of Changemakers
In the first cycle , YV Challenge is supporting 27 young people to launch ventures on their social change ideas. After 3 capacity building workshops, the venturers present their ideas to a panel. Based on the panelists feedback, YV invests Rs 10,000 in each lead venturer.
The panel day started with a briefing for the 20 panelists who were with us for the 2 days of panel discussions. Each panel comprised of 3 panelists and we had 6 panels running simultaneously. The panelists comprised of Ashoka fellows and professionals from the academic, business and ciitizen sector in Mumbai. Each team got 15 minutes to present their ideas, followed by 10 minutes for the panel to raise questions which was follwed by 20 minutes of panel debrief of the venture team.
Third Workshop
In the third workshop,Venturers were asked to think of their unique context and project idea and identify the people, skills and organizations that will support them, help to develop and implement their project idea. The Resource Mapping and budgeting exercises helped the venturers to think through and identify the network of resources in their community that will support their Venture.

First Workshop - Idea Development
Youth Venture Challenge (YVC) brought together 27 young people from across Mumbai to work on a social issue they are passionate about. In the 1st workshop, the venturers worked on building and developing their idea before going back to the community to field test their action plans and strategies.
