Dreams to Realities is a youth venture project that was started to help elementary and middle school students from low-income backgrounds in the Houston area to get some of the school supplies they need to be successful in their school years. To do this we raise money to purchase school supplies and gather donated supplies to give to a total of seventy-five students throughout the year in three different settings. The first will be in June for summer school students, in August for the first semester of the school year and also in January for the second semester of the school year. Students will be selected based upon recommendations made by teachers and the team at Dreams to Realities to determine if the students meet criteria and would benefit from getting the donated school supplies.
