Tropical Storm Fay
Mostly when the words "tropical storm" or "hurricane" come about they are paired with words such as "devistation" or "wreck" well yesterday and today i have seen a true spectale that happens once in a life time. It was truely amazing and i am lucky to have seen it. It is a true beauty in my own courtyard. Because of Topical Storm Fay our courtyard is flooded and branches and roof shingles scatter our courtyard and as most people would see it as a sad sight and would be depressed by it i saw an odd beauty in it and have taken many photos in which i will put in my pictures please look at them. But even through the peircng rain and wind i stood on my backporch and took many pictures of the odd beauty that has taken place. Before i saw this i have to admit that i was pretty scared by the wind and the rain, but once i saw the flooding and the branches everywhere i was amazed and no longer scared; i had a new feeling about me as if it wouldn't hurt me because nothing that created something that beautiful could possibly hurt me and i wanted to play in it and jump in the puddles and walk around and take pictures of the outcome of the storm. I like to look at it as the fact that even through every piece of devastation and every rough time in your life there is always a little flooded and debris filled courtyard that will bring a smile to your face because of it's unexpected beauty. So please look at the photos and everything around you as a blessing and an unexpected beauty in nature. If you are effected by Fay I hope it is in such a way as she has effected me and if she has taken something from you take something back; take the gift of beauty, family and friends and share them all with everyone in need of a little unexpected beauty.
