Ashoka is looking for outstanding young changemakers who, through their social and environmental projects, have had strong social impact and have brought sustainable change in their communities. You can help, by applying or nominating young changemakers to participate!
Candidates must be:
• Be no older than 24 years old on July 1, 2008
• Have started and be leading a social or environmental project responding to a problem/need in their community, and creating a sustainable impact
• Reside in Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Spain or Sweden.
• Have a basic command of English (highly preferred).
Participants to the Academy will be selected on the basis of their project idea, the impact of their initiative, their motivation and track record.
Selection will take place through an online application (registration open March 1-April 27) and an in-person panel (between May 1 and May 15). Winners will also receive a grant of €1,000 for their projects, and play a central role in a Europewide campaign on the role of young changemakers in society.

Please candidates for this academy change maker competition is only limited to those above outline counties?
What about African Countries who also have the passion to participant and get their voices been hard on the youth change maker drive?
