Genv.net's first contest begins--win a $50 Visa gift card!
Genv.net is beginning the first of six contests for genv.net users this Friday, June 8. There will be monthly contests that culminate in a 2007 Member of the Year Award to be announced in December. Each contest will be a chance for genv.net users to show their creativity and ability to use the many features of genv.net. The winner of each contest receiving a $50 Visa card, be the featured user on genv.net for a week, and have their picture permanently placed in the rotation of pictures that appear at the top of every homepage ! All English speaking users will compete against each other in each contest. This means you have the opportunity to compete against youth in South Africa, the USA, Ireland, and India. At the end of the six months, users will have a chance to vote for the genv.net member of the year. The five winners of the individual contest will automatically be placed on the ballot for member of the year. Another five members will be nominated by their fellow genv.net users. Users will vote on the ten nominees during December and the winner of Genv.net User of the Year will receive $500 for their venture! If the winner of the final contest does not have a venture team, he or she will decide which venture team receives the $500 reward.

Tell your friends to sign up on genv.net by creating a profile. When your friend is asked how he/she heard about genv.net, make sure your friend types your genv.net username in the box so you’ll receive credit for this referral. The only way for you to receive credit for a referral is if your friend types in your genv.net USERNAME (what you use to login) exactly how it is on the site. We’ll keep the YV Digital blog and Forum Contest section updated daily listing the users with the most referrals. This first contest will start at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on June 8, 2007 and will end on June 29th, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
