hey - I saw your forum post in "Advice". It sounds like you have a wonderful venture idea! I suggest that you start off accepting donations for your service instead of setting an exact fee for a couple of reasons - while I'm sure you're very qualified, as you stipulated, a lot of people are wary of youth (I've encountered that myself!) and also, there are still many people who aren't very concerned about the environment (a sad fact) and so they might not be willing to pay money to do an environmental audit to begin with. I think your best bet would be to accept donations (depending on how affluent your community is, that could be a good money-maker...I know in our community, that would work), or charge a low price. Then, educate your clients about environmental issues, and with luck, they will be very grateful for the knowledge and you will reach more people with your message of environmental responsibility.
